2  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Recycled pumpkin costume :) on: November 04, 2009 01:37:57 AM
Hello Smiley
Here is the costume I made with my mom for my little sister this year.
The costume is 100% made from reused / recycled clothes.
The base of the costume (the dress) is an old tinkerbell costume one of my other sister wore about 12 years ago.
The top is made from an old orange tshirt we cut at the bottom.
The dark green parts of the costume have been cut from an old coat we found accidentally in the recycling center (there is a department in the recycling center where you can give / take items who can still be usefull)
The pumpkin is also made from another old clothe we cut and sewed on the tshirt.
Finally the belt is a headband on which we attached some colored beads.

At the end she really loved her costume  Smiley

4  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / The 3 sisters' dolls on: October 02, 2009 12:02:49 PM
Hello!  Smiley

I would like to show you the 3 dolls my mother made for me and 2 of my little sisters (there were made some years ago but I thought it would be a good idea to put them on craftster)

This is the doll my mother made for me in 1995 (I was 7 years old). It's a doll made from a picture I drawed.

And these are the 2 dolls made for my 2 little sisters. I think there are characters from the digimon cartoon (it was THE cartoon to see at this time  Roll Eyes )

And here the 3 together:

I hope you like them!
5  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / (Not really) a newbie from Luxembourg on: September 26, 2009 04:42:11 AM
Hello everybody!

So, I'm not really new to craftster as I come to the website regularly (more than regularly, maybe 4-5 times a day  Grin ) and so I finaly decided to introduce myself and to contribute to this wonderful site.

I'm 21 years old and live in Luxembourg (little country next to France, Germany and Belgium). I like all sort of arts and craft, I would like to study set design for the film industry next year in the UK (or California if I win the lotery  Tongue )

So see you soon on the forum  Wink
