A tea party/picnic theme could work really well. You could try bunting, cute table cloths, etc.

I agree with blungoldangel, but instead of putting it on the invites how about telling people in a subtle fashion? I completely understand you not wanting your wedding photos full of skanks, what is it about Halloween that makes people think its OK to go out in public wearing virtually nothing?

Great idea! Really interesting, could you possibly reuse it after the wedding?. I'm afraid I can be no help to you, but I wouldn't gut it if I were you because you may be able to mend it and use it for its original purpose again one day.

7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Bustle on an infinity dress? on: June 02, 2009 01:46:57 AM
I'm making an infinity dress for my graduation ball and was wondering whether stretch fabric is likely to be able to support a small section of pleats at the back to form a kind of bustle. In effect there would be more fabric just above my bottom to give a nice draped effect. The dress is going to be floor length, but I'm planning on having a wide waist band so that the bustle would start at my waist not at empire line.

Is there any way to reinforce it?

I have no experience with stretch fabrics and so would really appreciate your comments before I start cutting!

Thanks so much.

That looks so cool. Nice to see an interesting guys t-shirt that strays from the boring norm of a jokey slogan or picture.
