They're all so pretty, it's hard to choose!  But if I had to, I'd say #7.  I love the color combo and the picture of her is just so cute!

Lovely job all around!

Terrific job on the costumes!  I desperately want to do a Starbuck for Halloween, any tips or resources you could share?

You are so amazing!  That is the coolest thing I have ever seen on here!

Really good job on the apron too!  Love the color combo!

Oh!  Thank you so much!  I think I actually understand that Grin

Hooray!  This might really get made!

I've never tried to draft my own pattern before but I thought I could probably figure it out, the dress doesn't look too incredibly complicated.  Maybe just the skirt pieces, the bodice back and bodice front, I really can't see what else there would be.

You mentioned a seam at the shoulder, would you expect there to be a piece for the front and then a separate piece for the back straps then?

I was thinking that Simplicity pattern #2886 looked similarly shaped, maybe use that as a starting point.

This dress from Modcloth makes me SO happy!  So simple, so elegant *sigh*  And I would dearly love to learn how to do the criss-cross bodice/strap construction.  I've tried a Google search but seem to be Google-impared perhaps it's my terminology; I just can't figure out what to call it.  Any advice on what this technique is actually called, patterns that use it or tutorials that teach it would be greatly appreciated!!

Here's the actual link:

Thank you!

What a great job!

I assume you live somewhere with warm Christmas', that'd be perfect.
