whatthepuck - here's the tutorial I used, really simple to follow and fairly quick to complete. Although I quilted each side before seeing them together

I've made some things Cheesy

Some curtain ties for my friend who I resized 3 sets of curtains for the other week

And a microwavable soup bowl holder, no more burnt fingers!

Hopefully, more to follow.

My friend and I started a little etsyshop for sweaty bunting last year, just for fun. But now everyone wants bunting. Made some baby bunting with leftovers from the baby quilt I made last year.forgotto take a pic because I needed to send it in a hurry. Hopefully I'll get be sent when it arrives.

But, I'm so excited - a 2 year WIP / UFO is almost complete. I have been knitting a cardigan and finally all the components are ready. Just need to find my needle to piece it all together

I'm hoping this year will be a finishing year!!

Omg, I can do so the get rid of challenge!

For some years now, I have had a spinning wheel, I really wanted to be able to spin and tried numerous times to no avail, now it just takes up space and this is the year for it to find a new home. My friend is taking the fleece and ( Hopefully ) spinning that up for me. But the time is upon us for the wheel to move on to a new adventure!

Will take a pic and post later.

Congratulations on your perseverance. It looks great. Have you seen this tutorial for machine binding? I use it all the time.

Hi all, I've been absent for ages. Nothing sinister, just busy work. I have just finished a baby quilt for my friend, little is now 9 months old and 'winter is coming', so it's very timely. I had an absolute nightmare with the binding, despite (not) following MareMare's awesome binding tutorial, I was trying to do it one evening after work and obviously too tired to read properly and over folded it! Messy on both sides followed by a long time unpicking  Cry

I'm not a perfect quilter, but I'm much happier with my second attempt at binding.
