2  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Easter / Lots and Lots of Dots - MEGA SIZED! on: May 15, 2014 07:14:08 AM
I have previously posted Lots and Lots of Dots eggs http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=432596.0#axzz31nFI4Jl5 in the regular plastic egg size. After Easter I hit up the Hobby Lobby for a GINORMOUS EGG (at 80% off because I'm cheap). I used bigger dots and lots of glue. The process is all the same. I may Modge Podge this one to help protect it since it is so HUGE!

I can't claim credit this is my son's culinary creation.  We were roasting marshmallows and he decided to toast one inside a strawberry he scooped out the insides. DELICIOUS!  He even managed not to burn the marshmallow. I'm proud of him.  Grin

I used an Xcto knife to cut the canvas and painted it silver. The original was black, but I liked this color.  Smiley

6  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Easter / Minions Strike again!!! Minion EGGS!!!!! on: April 03, 2014 11:56:15 AM
This project was pinterest inspired and modified to fit the supplies I had.

What do you need!!!
Yellow and Blue plastic eggs
hot glue gun
black electrical tape
Googley eyes
Black Sharpie

I had to cut apart my eggs and then just mixed up my yellow and blue eggs. Add a strip of electrical tape for the goggle strap and then hot glue on an eye or two. Easy peasy! Use your sharpie to add a crooked little smile and some hair

I LOVE MINIONS!!! I LOVE MINIONS!!! I LOVE MINIONS!!!
Just added....PURPLE MINIONS!!!!

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=429234.120#axzz2vaSkLL6D It was in with a variety of other bits and baubles. I used old sheet music and scrap scrap book paper to make this. I also got to play with a cricut. Lots of Fun!  Grin

10  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Christmas card ornament on: December 29, 2013 07:05:12 PM
I found the pattern for these ornaments online.  I would love to give credit to the website I got it off of,  but I can't find the address anymore.   Tongue

I traced twelve of these little flower shapes on old Christmas cards.

Then you just have to fit them together.  They get a little fiddley at the end when you get to the last couple of pieces

I use a needle and thread and run it through a point to add a hanger. Then you are all done  Grin
