21  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Lord Voldemort/Tom Riddle Charm Bracelet on: November 14, 2011 07:08:21 AM
This definately rocks! Oh, bythe way, it's the appeal of the "bad" boy that fans of Voldemort are attracked to. LOL
22  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: IYP 19 Fall Ball (signups to Oct 21/11; send by Dec 1/11) on: November 13, 2011 05:35:09 PM
Just checking in. I have 2 parts complete, two parts 3/4 done and the other 3 parts I have the materials, have drawn up the patterns and am ready to go. How's that for vague? LOL

I am VERY comfortable with the progress I have made and I know I will be sending in plenty of time. I have added a couple of little extras. I'm fairly confident that their will be some happy campers at tapestrymlp's house.

I started on my collection for tapestrymlp. I am actually writing down the instructions as I create this first item,  in the event anyone else might be interested in recreating it for themselves or someone else (how's that for a teaser).  It was supposed to be an accessory piece but will probably be the one thing that takes the MOST time and effort. I'm super excited about it though and my family is oohing ad ahhing over it. The other items are in progress and will be completed in plenty of time.

I started on one of my items last night after finding a pattern I forgot I had. It was the one piece I DID NOT want to draft a pattern for. Everything else I will design myself.

I love reading the comments by so many of you about cleaning up your craft rooms. Mine seems to be always in a state of disaster. It is doubly bad since Snazzlecraft (my daughter) and I share a studio.

Just imagine 2 artists with all their stuff, in the midst of  both sets of creative juices flowing like the Nile River. Yep! You got the picture.

This is my first time doing an Invite Your Partner swap and was quite flattered that tapestrymlp asked me to dance.

I won't be sitting this one out. I have accepted her invitation, signed up and have started crafting. (I hope it's OK to just get going as our names are not on the list yet).

I'm SO O O O O  excited! I have done some personally swapping before and it was a lot of fun!

Ella is adorable and such a helpful girl she is. Uh. What imperfections? Is she sitting on them? I think she looks great.
