It reads:

I want to be buried not cremated because I genuinely believe there will be a zombie plague at some point and I want to be able to join the fun.

This is what the card looks like with the bedsheet closed:

You pull it back to reveal the secret:

It reads: Where is my orgasm?  I want one!

"I can't explain why I love Polaroids, but I do!  I think it's more of an obsession, really-"

On the back:
I wanted to send you a real one, but I just couldn't let go...I'm sorry!  That's printed on Polaroid Zink paper, though!

I have received some over the last 2 days, but got lost on the way to the gallery.  So, without further ado:

Reads:
I wish I were more like Flo the Progressive Girl!
She's so fun and sparkly

Also, underneath her pic it says, Why so Serious?

6  Re: Dotees - Mini Art Dolls - Round 5 in The Swap Gallery by grimmlynn on: June 20, 2009 01:11:42 PM
Sorry to hear that, Smmarrt!

I have my final pics to post.  I got my awesome, creepy cool dotee from spicytaco today:

Here is a group shot of all my precious dotees!  They are great.

And since all of mine have been received, here is a group shot of my fuzzy ones.  I forgot to take shots of my other ones before they were sent off, though.

I enjoyed this swap so much and my swap partners were the best!

So far I have received from junebug6162 and Smmarrt.  I love them SO very much.  Junebug, I knew it was a pear right away  Smiley and what wonderful beading!  Smmarrt, yours was spot on (have you ever been to the South...lol?)!  I absolutely loved her and her story.
And without further ado:
junebug6162's wonderful fruit creation:
Full Body Shot-

A Close-up of her gorgeous face-

She also sent me some goodies to make another dotee with!
And here is my adorable doll from Smmarrt:

She is in the shape of Alabama with a star where our capital, Montgomery is and is great!
Thank you so much!

8  Particulary pleased... in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by grimmlynn on: May 29, 2009 08:23:01 PM
I am by no means a professional photographer...in fact, I might not even qualify as an amateur, but I was floored by how these pics of the bee and flower came out.  I don't know if you can tell it here, but on the first pic you can see the lines in his wings so crisp and clear.
Comments are always welcomed and appreciated!

9  Orange Inchies! Oh, the addiction! in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by grimmlynn on: May 18, 2009 11:46:56 PM
Here are a few orange inchies I made for a swap.  I am still just getting started with inchies, but with each new 'batch' I feel like I am improving!

A group shot of 8 of them

My 2 favorite ones

Let me know what you think.  Any constructive criticism is welcome!

10  Re: Shrinky Dink Swap (signup May 14, 2009-May 31, 2009, send by June 30) in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by grimmlynn on: May 16, 2009 10:02:08 PM
I used the rough kind of paper to print from my computer and so far it has worked okay.  I wish I had known that sooner since it costs SO much less than the special ink jet kind.  A few of them got a little smudged as you can see i the picture, but I don't mind.  I will find a way to fix it.
