This is just a general resume, the scholarships are not for any specific school or program. An academic advisor is collecting resumes to see if she can match any of her students up with a list of scholarships she has, so I don't even know exactly what they are (but they're not specifically art-oriented). Sooo.... here are the kind of things I sell:
Painted glass jars:
(a great horned owl)
and painted rocks:
(an eastern box turtle)
I guess they lean more towards the art side of arts & crafts... but... I dunno. Thanks in advance for your help
I just finished painting this jar, it's a gift for a veterinarian who has offered a lot of help to Kim's Ark, an animal rescue group that I'm a member of. He works with wildlife as well as pet birds, so here we have...
... a Great Horned Owl...
... a Moluccan Cockatoo...
... a Red-Tailed Hawk...
... and an African Gray parrot.
(I wasn't sure which board this belonged on, I hope this is the right place )
I made this keychain for my friend for Christmas. We're both wildlife rehabilitators, one of her "specialties" is raising baby opossums. The opossum is made of polymer clay, painted and sealed. The beads are glass, so I was able to mold the opossum around the bead and bake them both together. Pretty darn cute if I do say so myself.
I'm looking for a bigger version of jars like this (glass lid, wire latch):
This is the kind I got at the craft store, but I didn't see any bigger ones there. I actually found a place that sells the right kind (provo craft) but they only do wholesale stuff - not individual orders. I'll check out Target, thanks!
