1  Comic book wall art in Interior Decorating: Completed Projects by essentiallyascending on: February 19, 2009 07:22:45 PM
I love comics and needed some comic-related wall art for my figurine-overflowing room. The result: A framed collage of 3 different comic book issues, panel by panel. Cutting around dialogue bubbles and extended images made the piece seem like one whole story page from an issue. I enjoyed making it and hope to make more!

2  Framed comic collage - Marketable? in Get Product and Website Opinions by essentiallyascending on: February 19, 2009 01:20:13 PM
I've been piecing together my favorite comics into a collage using and overlapping different panels with each other, even carefully cutting around extended images and dialogue bubbles. The outcome looks great and makes for an interesting contemporary accent in any room.

Do you think there is a market for something like this? Would you buy it? Lay down the pros, cons, and any opinions that crosses your mind.

As a comic enthusiast, I would appreciate and buy a work like this but was wondering if I was in a league of my own. I love to make these and would love to be able to sell them to others to enjoy as well, even custom work. Thanks in advance!
