I received my box from aethelberga!!!

I got a wonderful case with a useful pocket, a placemat for my tea pot (it's already in use!) and a journal with an blackwork cover.

See the cool flowers?

My Kobo has a wonderful new home. Thanks again aethelberga!
(sorry about the dark pic)

I broke my e-reader on the first day of my trip to Paris!!! I imagined myself reading in a cafe while having some wine, or reading on a pick nick in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower, but no, the damn screen cracked!!!

oh well, it turns out that there are many thing to do here that don't involve reading.

I'm going to get a replacement, but I'm not sure what brand I want. Anyone have any suggestions? I want an affordable option with an e-ink screen, but note taking capabilities and a dictionary are not necessary. I loved my Kobo, but the Sony 300 sounds good, too.

My Parcel from BloodyDeaf has arrived. Unfortunately the Vogons got a hold of it first, and there were some formalities before i could get the thing released into my hands. First I had to Fill in requisition form A-042, send it to them, and wait for the Vogons to send form Z-113 to for me to fill out. Then.... well never mind the particulars. Lets just say the Vogons really love their paperwork.

All that bureaucracy was worth it wen i saw what BloodyDeaf had crafted!

First was a H2G2 notebook that will be ever so useful in September! The quote is the guide discussing the probability (or improbability) of a spaceship picking up a person who is holding their breath in space.

Next was the apron I had asked for. It has a hand-drawn whale at the top. The whale is flying through the sky, wide eyed and agape; so cute! The bottom has the whales thoughts, like "Who am I?" and "Why am I here?"

Last is a wonderful purse! The fabric is a aqua and cream print, and the sewing is fantastic; it even as a small pocket inside. Marvin is on the front, looking as depressed as ever. There is a shiny star button to keep it closed (I love shiny). and the back reads "life, don't talk to me about life"

I am so happy! Thank you so much BloodyDeaf
