I just tried it. It's a lot of fun thanks. I used an ink pen so I could get small details but wiped it off(the pen not the paper) when the fluid starts to dry. But my original picture is not this dark at all my scanner is horrible.

Most of these pictures I took with my iphone then photoshop and then some of them I also used a program called Poladroid to make them into polaroids.

4  Obama Cupcakes anyone? in Craft The Vote! by macgirl_k on: October 31, 2008 07:58:15 PM
I made these Obama cupcakes to bring to a calling party for him. I also brought them to the bar where I sing karaoke to tell everyone to go out and vote for him. I said they were eating a sweet taste of victory. And for my republican friends-devouring the competition.

I am going to pass out more and tell people to vote for him when I give them one.

5  Re: 30 days of Obama t-shirts in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by macgirl_k on: October 21, 2008 03:42:35 PM
Thanks for all the great comments. I screen printed the picture of him. If anyone wants the image my brother made it for me- it's kind of like a half tone of his face with Obama '08 at the bottom. I don't if I can post it here? Is his picture copyrighted? A few friends are negative but most of my friends now agree I should just ignore them, even my Republican friends say they are not being very intelligent right now. Other then them people like that I'm wearing the shirts. All they say is-your going to wash them right?
I'm really excited! My friend told me Obama is having his election night party in Chicago so a group of my friends and I are planning to go down to Grant Park to be there.

I think I'm on my 17th day of wearing an Obama shirt.

6  30 days of Obama t-shirts in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by macgirl_k on: October 18, 2008 08:23:20 PM
I really like Obama but where I live next to Chicago almost everyone does. I printed lots of shirts for my friends to wear and I decided to wear an Obama shirt everyday for 30 days. I am on day 13 right now 17 days to go. Here is one shirt I made to wear for it. It was a really large t-shirt that I cut up and sewed and also screen printed his face on. Sorry about the bad pictures. Most of my friends like the shirts but I am discouraged with some of my friends who have made nasty rude comments to me about voting for him. Things that a friend should not say to another friend. But I am still wearing my shirts!

8  Orange/Blue Oodles of Buttons Necklace in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by macgirl_k on: June 24, 2008 08:57:33 PM
I love buttons!
I made this button necklace to wear to work when I had to work at the bead and button show. I wire wrapped all the buttons onto the chain then I added pearls and fire polish for the end.
It's orange and blue not exactly the same colors as in the scan.

9  Macro Challange-Fire in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by macgirl_k on: May 01, 2008 10:11:12 PM
I hope this picture counts. I don't have macro on my camera so I used the close up setting. It's part of a lamp I have. I just got as close as I could to it. Nothing done on photoshop. I think it looks like fire.

10  Counting Crows Wallet in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by macgirl_k on: April 13, 2008 07:46:49 PM
My favorite band is counting crows so I decided to make a counting crows wallet. I used fabric and iron on transfers. The images are from some of their cd covers.
