OK... here's the back-story: my husband's best friend just got married to his best friend's girl. So here's the most appropriate wedding gift I could think of for such an occasion!

These are two pillowcases using Sublime Stitch patterns, plus one from the Stitch-It Kit. The joke is that my husband's best friend's name is Pexa and his bride's from Texas... you'll see!  Wink

I think my grandmother starched the embroidery, too, but I think I'd work with a pressing cloth just to be safe... or maybe ironing/starching on the side opposite the embroidery. Either way, I'd hate to see your work damaged!   Smiley

I embroidered some vintage handkerchiefs for my grandmother with a Jenny Hart pattern. She ironed and starched them and they looked really nice... maybe give that a whirl?
