Heehee... I thought the "Mariposa" picture was for the dress too! It's a pity it's not because it's such a cute dress!!

You crocheters are hard core! I have to, have to see a picture of this dress if you make it... and then maybe give me a tutorial because I signed up for beginning crochet in September! Smiley

And a funny PS (because I must have a teenage boy's brain this morning), the text recognition/scanner thingie kept wanting to change "dc-ch" to "douche"!!

The Nogales one made me laugh so hard that I scared my dog and cat who were sleeping at my feet. The dog started barking and the cat jumped up onto my desk and almost knocked the keyboard off. Was not expecting that pic, lol.
I thought the Mariposa one was kind of cute. If you still have it handy I would appreciate the instructions for that. Thanks for sharing the pics. Haven't laughed that hard all day!

Your wish is my command! I scanned these in as two separate files: one a .jpg/picture file so you can see the  diagram and another for the text. Let me know if any of it looks funky (well, funkier than it started out)! Post a picture if you make it! Smiley

29  FIBER ARTS / Spinning: Completed Projects / First Spun Yarn and Hat Knit From the Same! on: August 09, 2005 03:36:18 PM
I finally was able to spin using my drop spindle after some lessons from a lady in my knitting group, and here's the result!

I really enjoy this board: you've all made some beautiful, beautiful yarns!!
30  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Selling Crafts on Etsy.com / Re: How's Your etsy Shop Doing? on: August 09, 2005 02:16:57 PM
I too stuck my toe into the etsy pond. Very few things...no sales.

PS. How do you make a banner  Huh

Your felted things are way too cute! I made my banner (at the top of http://umamihomemade.etsy.com) in Macromedia Fireworks, which I believe you can download for free for 30 days from http://www.macromedia.com. I set my banner's size at 77 pixels high and 535 pixels wide. Then I took a photo I'd taken (to avoid any copyright messiness), did a couple of Photoshop tricks to it, and added a font I got off of http://www.dafont.com/en. The banner you make in Fireworks will be a .png file that you can upload to Etsy.

Let me know if you need any more help. I've learned a little here and there and am happy to help anyone that needs it!  Wink
