we are not exactly the wildest people around...will probably like to watch a movie or two and then play some games, drink some booze and have a sleepover at someone's place. but these sound abit boring and un-special for a birthday so basically just some ideas to spice things up?

I think you have a point there. Just visited artfriend. It's not the place you'll look for craft supplies to be "crafty" cause the main point is to get something handmade/customised at cheaper than the market price for the real thing you buy in stores. The things there are too expensive and too disorganised, although they will almost have what you need. Unless you're willing to fork out the money, if not, 

How about a wall collage made up of posters of some classic movies in the 70s and 80s?
You can use some black and white photos of some famous actresses (Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Grace Kelly etc) or paint a fake movie poster (with your own made-up actress, title and pictures) like a real one.. Frame it up and give it to her..since she's moving out she probably have her own apartment or room soon. It can be a decoration and reminder of you too

Hello craftsters.

My two best friends are having their birthdays 5 days apart in February, the week after Valentine's Day.
I am thinking of planning a joint birthday party for the two of them on the weekend.

Something fun for a small cosy group of friends (around 8-12)? Any suggestions for games, food?
The budget is abit tight cause I still have to buy presents for them.

The Artfriend craft store in Bras Brasah Complex (off City Hall or Bugis station) has a good selection of craft supplies. I don't know if they have exactly what you are looking for, but it's one place you can try. I haven't been there in awhile already, so if I've provided wrong info please correct me. Thanks!
