5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Patchy-sort of bag :) on: November 14, 2010 05:31:00 AM
Great job!  The fabrics are so pretty and because of the patchy-ness you can't tell much with the sides, plus, anyone who doesnt make bags would never notice. :-)

O-rings are at Joann.com and pursesupplydepot.com

:-) But I like the D-rings!

Very cute- eat that pile of flesh+color. Removable base = Miche? Just curious if this is, or would work with them.

Not like a Miche, its a removable bag base-insert.  I use them in all of my bags with formed bottoms, instead of sewing it in, I make it removable so that it can be washed and protect the inside of the bag from spills, leaks from lip-gloss, etc.

9  SEWING IN GENERAL / Machine Embroidery: Completed Projects / Fleece Nautical Blankets on: October 28, 2010 01:13:00 PM
This isnt really quilting and I couldn't figure out where else to put it.. so... hope this works.

These are just no-pill fleece with novelty cotton print binding.  I embroidered the kid's names on them.  I think they'll make great gifts for the person who "has everything". ;-)

The blankets are 36x36 inches and super cuddley!

Thanks for lookin'
