Is anyone else working on this pattern?  I'm moving right on up the sleeves.  I'm nearing the finish on them.  I think it's going to come out looking gorgeous!  I can't wait to get started on the body.  Here's a pic of my progress as of last weekend.  The sleeves are much  longer now.

4  Re: Deuces Wild Flower Pin Swap Round 3 in The Swap Gallery by Atouria on: April 10, 2005 08:03:34 AM
I know I'm super late on posting this, but I had to share the awesome pin that meredith made.

She  hand embroidered this pin with my favorite color combos ~ pink and brown!  She did an amazing job and I can't even begin to count all the compliments I've gotten on this pin when I wear it.  I deem Meredith the felt queen!

5  Re: Not your grammy's pincushion swap gallery! in The Swap Gallery by Atouria on: April 10, 2005 07:59:41 AM
Check out my  pin cushions from  Lorie!  I cant' believe that she did that apple with no pattern or anything.  That girl has talent!  She's becoming a good friend of mine through emails.  I'm so glad that she's so understanding, because I'm late on her pin cushions.  I'm going to have to send her a little something extra. 1) because I'm so late. 2) because I can not match her skills in the sewing arena.

6  Re: Purse of Any Kind Swap Gallery!! in The Swap Gallery by Atouria on: April 10, 2005 07:58:10 AM
I got an awesome purse yesterday from Mere 1312.  I love the color combo and the polka dots.  I can't wait to get to use this bag!  She even has a velcro close and a snazzy zipper pocket.  Talent!  (This is extra special because my original swapper disappeared on me!  Mere did this out of the kindness of her own heart ~ thanks so much!)

The butterfly is beautimus.  It's in the Noro Knits magazine/pattern book.

8  Purse of Any Kind Swap Gallery!! in The Swap Gallery by Atouria on: March 07, 2005 07:17:41 PM
We should all be getting our purses in soon and I couldn't wait to start the gallery!

NVA received the purse that I sent her today!

She said I should post it, so here it is:

The liner is light blue and has sewing notions all over it.  It also says, "Sewing is our common thread."

I'm so glad you liked it!

**Now that I look at the photo, it seems a little lopsided, but I promise the purse is symmetrical! Smiley

9  Vogue Winter 04/05 #23 shawl~collared pullover in Knitalongs by Atouria on: February 24, 2005 03:25:44 PM
Here's a link to the issue... http://www.vogueknitting.com/vkm/vkm.html

I am just in love with this sweater!!  I ordred some beautiful yarn from www.theknittinggarden.com in a lovely purple for it.  I'm nearly finished with my hourglass sweater and hope to start this as soon as my yarn arrives.

Is anyone else up for it??  This will only be my 2nd sweater!  The pattern doesn't call for circs, but I would like to convert it to be knit in the round.  Who else wants to join?

You know you want to!!!!  Wink

10  Re: Row counter bracelets - stylish AND functional! in Knitting: Completed Projects by Atouria on: January 18, 2005 04:55:05 PM
Ok, I think I bought the wrong size crimping beads, but I tried!  I got crimping tubes instead that were 1.3 mm.  Yes, I'm that much of a newb.  They're not super obvious, though, so I think it will be ok.

Here's my new creations.. If you have ideas on how to improve them, I'm completely open!!

Thanks again for all the help and support, from everyone!
