11  boring coveralls to FABULUS coveralls! in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by reuse on: July 11, 2009 01:02:19 PM
so I am a rare kind of engineering student, first off I am a girl, and there aren't that many of us but more importantly I am a GIRLY girl, and there are even less of those!!  Math and science have always been my thing, but so has pink... and i am determined to change the idea that girly means dumb.. because it doesn't!!!!

anyways so at my school in frosh week everyone gets an old coverall suit that they are supposed to decorate and then wear to all the engineering events... i never did mine in 1st year but now im going to help run frosh this year so mine has got to be good.... I came up with this pink number and I love it!

before:

after!!!

(spelled with math symbols!!)

I really like it, its over the top and fun! I want to add a bit more colour to the front though, not sure how I will but Im sure ill update this if I add anymore pink!

thanks for looking Cheesy

20  crochet metal bracelet! funky in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by reuse on: May 17, 2009 11:20:50 AM
I tried out crochet jewelry for the first time last week, and i thought it looked pretty cool, (but sadly its kind of scratchy, so i have to fix that!)

here is the outcome:

hanging up:

and on my wrist:

I think i will try making more, and just make sure to tuck in all the loose ends so it wont be scratchy, but it was fun at least!
thanks for looking! Cheesy

(and just youtube crochet jewlery if you want to try it, there are tons of video tutorials that helped me!)
