WOW!  I don't know what I like more...............the purse or the fact that you found that fabulous sweater for $1!  Great find!!!!!

I had something like this years ago... I don't know where it ever went but I no longer have it, sadly.  From time to time I think of making a new one and then I never do. I'm really not into pink... nevertheless it is very nice.  I'm glad somebody still is into this style.

One day I might still make a new one (although nothing really will be able to replace the old one lost) but for now i shall just appreciate that the art itself is not lost.

yay for you  Smiley

Very nice - it looks great on you.  I concur that the yarn choice was well done - the trim, the dress, all very nice... this (or something like it) shall have to go on my 'to-make' list.

and, no, I would not think that plain black ribbon would be an easy find...

That is just darling ... and so convenient.  I may need some of these.

That looks so cozy - I think I may need to look it up when i get my Ravelry invite  Amazing how coincidental it is, I've gone without knowing what ravelry was until just recently and then got on their wait-list only a couple days ago before seeing this. [edit: checked on that - according to their site should be about two days. So I'm guessing a week since it was about three days when I signed up three or four days ago.]

I love the color.

I love knitty.

Of all the things i've made over time I only had one thing I kept for myself... mainly because the guy I was seeing at the time (for whom the scarf was intended) started dating somebody new and ditched me before it was finished.  After that I couldn't just re-assign a recipient - it seemed wrong.  Nothing fancy as far as stitches but nearly twice as long as I am tall.
