1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Cutting fabric on: August 24, 2011 11:23:52 AM
I've just finished designing a skirt and making a pattern for it, now I need to figure out how to cut it out of my linen fabric - can I get a nudge in the right direction, please?  I'm just not sure which way the pieces should lay on the fabric...I've followed patterns before, but this is my first time engineering one and my knowledge/experience is limited.
Thanks!
2  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / I want to make a bag from this skirt... on: February 10, 2009 09:48:28 AM

But I have no idea how I would go about doing it...

Does anyone have any tutorials about turning skirts into bags (purse, tote, whatever) that will help me out?  I would appreciate it!
