1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / What I've been up to (Photo OVERLOAD!) on: August 02, 2011 08:47:54 AM
It's been a while since I've posted here on Craftster, so here's what I've been up to this past year!

For Megzy, "The Gru Scarf"

Made for my boyfriend, a blue Yip Yip

I made my good friend Norma a "Baby-Shower-In-A-Box". This was everything inside Smiley

Lets see, we've got: A baby bear hat (complete with bow) and newborn "paw" mitts, a Starghan baby blanket, two pairs of Baby Peep Toe shoes, a baby bonnet, 4 washcloths, baby bunting, a baby sweater jacket, and a set of baby bibs. She loved everything Cheesy

Next is another baby shower gift set, although this was for a boy. We've got the Manly Baby Business bib, a pair of Baby Converse shoes, and a blue gingham baby blanket Smiley

Thanks for looking! C&C welcome!
2  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Piggie hat!! on: January 09, 2010 05:02:10 PM
So, I am a HUUUUGE lover and collector of pigs. And I needed a hat to add to my collection! (Really, I just needed another hat... cause I'm a big collector of those too. So I guess this really could add to my addiction to both??) Anyways! It took a few days to get everything right and where I wanted it. I think it turned out pretty cute!

Hope you like it! C&C welcomed!!!
3  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / My finished Christmas gifts of '09 on: December 30, 2009 02:39:59 PM
Here's a few of the Christmas gifts I did for family and friends this year! I didn't get pictures of all the gifts I made though. Sad I'm still waiting on a few pictures to be sent to me as well.

First, my Christmas gift to my bff Kate. Her and I have this sick and twisted humor that intensifies when you put us in the same room. She always talks about poop. Types of poop, how we can make poop smell better, etc etc! So I thought this would be a good idea for her: Stuffed poop (I used the Happy Poo pattern) and a Toilet Paper scarf (I got the idea for this from a few other craftster posts on here, and came up with my take of the pattern on my own)

Next is the bag for my boyfriends sister. I posted this in another post, but here's the picture!

Next, the gift set for my boyfriends parents. His mom has her ENTIRE kitchen decorated in chili peppers. So I thought, "What better to make than things for her kitchen!" Both are my own patterns and design. The hotpad is my favorite. The base of the hotpad is single crocheted with two strands of black yarn, with a red boarder. I winged the chili pepper, believe it or not! I had no idea what I was doing, but just going with the flow! I just sewed that onto the hotpad and vwala!
The mug cozies are just bright red yarn with green zig-zags at the top, and attach at the sides with a chili pepper button from Jo-Anns Smiley

Next is Belle. I made princess dolls for my two little cousins, and they will continue to get more dolls for each christmas and birthday that comes. I used a pattern I bought a while back when I made one for my sister, and just adapted it to Belle. The hair was probably the trickiest thing for me to keep in place (Rule #1: Hot glue can fix anything)

Next is Jasmine. Again, in the set for my cousins. Again, already posted on this so here's the picture Smiley

I'm still working on a few more late christmas gifts for people, and, believe it or not, I'm getting ready to start working on gifts for NEXT Christmas. The time span I thought I needed, I didn't have!
Hope you all like these! C&C's are welcome!!
4  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Christmas gift for BF's sister :) on: December 13, 2009 06:57:49 PM
I made this purse for my bf's sister this year for Christmas. She's going to college as a music major and LOOOOVES anything music. I used Tunisian charts for the music notes, and everything else is my original pattern. Here's a few photos! C&C's welcome!

5  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Finished this in one day: Princess Jasmine Ami xD on: November 19, 2009 07:43:24 PM
Here she is!!! This is only one of many princesses I have to do as Christmas gifts this year. I tried looking for some sort of Jasmine pattern I could go off of, but no one had made that I'd seen! So, I had to improvise from a photo and this is the end result! Please let me know what you think!

6  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Crochet mug cozies :) on: November 18, 2009 08:01:48 AM
Here are some of the mug cozies I've made over the past few months. I make these for a local coffee shop my mom bakes for.

These ones are from a "series" of sorts. I love these colors paired with brown, so what better way to express some creativity??

4th of July one Smiley

This one was SUPPOSED to be a Steelers mug cozy, but the way the stripes were gave me the idea to make a bumble bee instead xD Isn't it cute?!

And keeping up with the "bug" theme, I created this little Lady Bug to match one of the mugs the coffee shop sells Smiley

This is another one to match a coffee mug at the shop

I shall definitely post the rest in due time! Comments and ideas are welcomed!!!
