1  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Branson the Panda on: November 23, 2009 03:23:18 PM
This is Branson the panda! He's a gift for my friend's birthday and my first ever teddy bear! Branson is 6 inches tall sitting, and is 5-way cotter pin jointed. He's made out of faux fur.
I think he turned out pretty cute!

Wow! It's been a long time since I posted something new!! I've made quite a few new zombies, and thought I'd share them with you!

My zombie cat with wee skeletal toes! Her head is jointed and can turn a full 360 degrees!

My first zombie turkey.

Zombie bunny with a bear cub head.

Zombie squirrel munching on another squirrel's head.

My second zombie turkey.

As always, I love comments and feedback! Thanks for taking the time to look!
3  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Why yes, yes I DID make a 2-headed bunny. on: September 23, 2009 07:57:36 AM
Yep! I was sitting around last Sunday thinking "hmmmm, what should I make today . . ." and then  it hit me! A 2-headed bunny! With a raccoon tail! And spikes down its back! AWESOME!
So, yeah. That's what I made.
Enjoy!

Skidoo!

Oy! It's been a long time since I've posted something! I made this little chinchilla today! It's from my own pattern, and while he's a little wonky, I think he's darn cute! I used faux fur and flet for the ears. As always, I'd love comments and suggestions!

6  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Plague Rat on: May 29, 2009 10:32:05 AM
I like weird and macabre things. Zombies, monsters . . . . so I decided that I should make a plague rat!! He's got maggots eating him!! Yay!

The maggots are rubber fishing lures, and the chewed end of his tail is a bit of rubber hose.
I think he's cute!!!

7  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Killer bunny of doom!!! on: May 16, 2009 04:28:26 PM
Here's my killer bunny of doom! He's enjoying a tasty mouse. I guess that makes him cannibalistic. At least he's a cute killer, cannibalistic bunny of doom . . .

Wooooooooo!
8  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / A pig and an octopus on: May 16, 2009 06:49:26 AM
I made this pig and octopus this week and decided they were too cute not to share! The piggy is made out of super soft fabric that I scavenged from a robe! (I'm not the robe wearing type!). The octopus is made from lavendar fleece. Enjoy!

9  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Ferret! on: May 07, 2009 02:34:06 PM
I had a custom request for a life-like plush ferret. This guy was a bit of a pain in the butt! It's rather difficult to hand-stitch real fur (thick hide). I broke a couple of needles on my sewing machine and so decided to hand-stitch. He's made from oppossum fur, faux fur, and a mink tail!

10  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Fun with fur . . . on: May 07, 2009 07:39:21 AM
While digging through boxes in my basement, I came across tons of fur. Raccoon and oppossum pelts, coyote, fox, raccoon, and bobcat tails and faces, and fur scraps. What am I going to do with all this fur?! Hey! Why not make softies with it?!
These are my first 2. I'm working on 2 ferrets for a custom request (using my raccoon pelt and oppossum pelt - I'll post them when they're finished).

The first one is made with faux fur and a coyote tail. The second with tweed, microsuede, and a raccoon tail.
Kinda unique, eh?
