1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Easy fleece mustache scarves on: December 29, 2012 02:22:33 PM
Found some fuzzy felt at Hobby Lobby and some fleece.  Voila! Christmas presents for the nieces and nephews : )

My favorite scene in that movie.  The background really does work well.
3  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Craftster Itself / Featured Projects and home page thumbs on: November 12, 2012 06:52:43 PM
I would like to give some feedback about the thumbs on the home page - when I want to browse the projects on the home page I often can't tell what anything is until I open the thumb because they are zoomed in so close. This wastes a lot of time. It would be nice if there were a more "elegant" solution, where perhaps a full size photo displays when you hover the cursor over the photo, or an option to open a whole page of the selected category. Anything would be better than having to open each image to browse. And, when I'm sneaking a peek at Craftster while I'm at work, it increases my risk of getting in trouble for screwing around!  Wink
Just a thought.

I love this sweater! Jacquard is fun, isn't it? This is a great pattern and you did a really good job.  Smiley

I love felt badges, and these are especially nice.  The fox is super extra cute.
6  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / Re: A home for a hedgehog! on: March 15, 2012 04:56:05 PM
WOW wow wowowowow!  Any hedgie would be proud to call this home! We used to have a little blonde prickly girl.  She got loose in the garden after an afternoon of outdoor cage run - I always figured she was probably happier free, but we sure enjoyed her company while she was with us. Hedgehogs rule!
7  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Re: Where I Work: My New Craft Room (Pic Heavy) on: January 25, 2012 03:58:43 PM
Yep, the Empty Nest is a double-edged sword, so to speak.
My 24 year old son was encouraged to fly on his own a while.  I made his room into a "guest room" during the transitional phase, but now 17 year old miss.dustbunny moved in.
At first it was just the comfier bed, then her stuff started oozing in. My soon-to-be (and long deserved) work room/sanctuary was taken over by more progenitor!  Turns out, I couldn't move forward with taking on the space because I was so sad about the man cub not being there.  I can't even think about my daughter leaving, but I am beginning to feel ready to push her out of my work space.
Seeing Racky's lovely room helped to fan the flames on that!

It comes as no surprise to me that I love this room  ; )

Our little doxie always has cold ears in the cooler months... he would hate this. I am going to have to make him one with cat ears so he can wear it after he piddles on my arm chair!

btw: LimeRiot - these photos are amazingly adorable.
