Found some fuzzy felt at Hobby Lobby and some fleece.  Voila! Christmas presents for the nieces and nephews : )

Here are the (crappy cell phone) photos of the ridiculously fabulous package I received from QuindustriousP.  Even the package was great, note the adorable drawing on the enclosed letter:


I actually did a little *gasp* when I opened this, marked “for the office”

They're little stretched canvases painted to look like Polaroid snapshots. Love it!

Here are all four on my grey, grey cube wall – so cheerful now! (tempted to put them on my mantle with my other gnomie stuff)
 

A parcel marked “for the garden” with a picture of Amélie and her crème brulé cracking spoon.  Inside, assorted spoons for marking my plants.  I LOVE these, so sweet and creative:


I have had to defend this from the clutches of my daughter.  She won’t quit raving about my super-sweet new bag, complete with French knots on the raspberries  

 



My photos really don’t do any of these things justice, but everything was truly wonderful!  And, I might add, this was QP’s first swap. Thanks for everything; I can’t quit grinning every time I see one of my new Amélie goodies!

Pleased to report that we could not taste the food coloring in our cupcakes, which were very colorful.

The one thing I did note, however, was that it was a little hard to judge how to dose out the batter evenly, and to have the correct amount in the paper at the end.  Next time (everyoneloved them, so there were certainly be a next time!) I will probably put the batters in disposable pastry bags to pipe it in.

My daughter was super happy with her birthday cakes!     Thanks for the wonderful idea.

Bored with store-bought stockings and really loving working with felt, I made my kids new stockings a couple Christmases ago.  I was worried the kids might not want to let go of their old stockings, but they love these! 
 
I do apologize for the poor quality photos.  Don't know if it's a bad camera, or bad end user

I went to the thrift store and bought an old lambswool sweater in a a lovely red.  I washed it in soapy warm water and it made a perfect felt.  The top is ribbing from the sweater's sleeve. 
I had a vintage white filigree metal-ball necklace which I took apart and flattened to make the snowflakes.  The bunny is made from regular little felt squares.

I got a couple photos from that party I'll post as my friend sends them to me...better late than never, I guess.  We had a guy taking photos prom style, it turned out pretty well.

I finally figured how to post a photo here, with my crappy camera phone, yea! - place standard but genuine camera phone apologies here - If this works I'll get to add some of my other things I've talked about here and never been able to post.

I made a few of these little guys - an alligator in a toutou and a kitty in a coffee cup - that I gave away.  this squirrely little guy I kept for myself.
