1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Baby Blanket on: January 16, 2010 06:52:27 PM
My brother in law and his wife are expecting in March (right around my birthday!).  I decided to make them a baby blanket as a gift.

closeup of the ribbon... I really cut it close on the ribbon!  I just ran out when I reached the corner again...

enjoy!
2  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Baby Blanket Question on: December 31, 2009 02:10:57 PM
I'm making a baby blanket for my brother-in-law and his wife who are due in March.  I have 2 cats and inevitably everything I craft gets cat hair on it.  I'm going to hand wash the blanket before I give it to them which is where my question comes up.

I don't have any kids, so I am completely unfamiliar with baby stuff and whether or not fabric softener is ok to use.  I normally use fabric softener that is fragrance free for sensitive skin, but I don't know if it is ok to use on baby stuff?

So after all the blah blah blah, I guess my question is:  Can I use fabric softener on something for a newborn if it is fragrance free?

thanks!

3  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Ellery the Elephant on: October 01, 2009 11:01:05 PM
I made this cute little elephant from a pattern by JanelleJ.  She is going to be my new cube mate!! (the elephant, not JanelleJ :p)

Thanks for looking!
4  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Kitty for a friend on: September 19, 2009 03:07:58 PM
I made this kitty for a friend of mine.  He ended up a little bigger than I originally wanted him to be, but seeing as how the real Dante is 22 lbs, bigger seemed to work out  Grin

Sorry about the picture quality, taken with a cell phone!

Enjoy!
