Wow, this is fabulous. Such a tough decision for you but your sister will love it and I reckon that will get you tons of 'best sister ever' brownie points that you can live off for a good while!!!

Wow, love these, cool work.

Probably a stupid question but how do you secure the pendant loop thingy-ma-jig on the back? (I'm assuming there's a slightly more official name for it Cheesy) - just craft / superglue or a specific kind?

Cool work, a great, and really diverse set of ATC's.
Plenty of ideas to steal from you sorry, inspired by you, that I can use re your multi-media effects  Wink
Love the June Palmer and Gingerbread man

My favorite is the first Smiley Did you come up with that quote? I really like the combination of the picture and the words!

Hi kiwi, yeah, I bought a few trashy romance novels at a charity shop and hunted through for appropriate statements. The book title itself was hilarious - Bought: For his Convenience or Pleasure?  About some British girl who nannies for a Russian Magnate , hence 'Nikolai' ...and you know the rest...Cheesy, although she doesn't fall for a girl at the end of the book, that's just my twist Cheesy

Ha ha, this would be perfect for my office where the air is also blue when me or my friend get a difficult employee!! Smiley

Yeah, I was pleased with the colouring effect on the prayer ATC and am going to try the 3D Owl and Pussycat this weekend...although having just sneaked a peek at your cards Panthermoon...blown away, they're fabulous...I love 'Smile' especially...Robert Redford is yummy  Kiss

Thanks, yeah, I don't mind the run either. I was surprised how quickly I got in to them after the initial blank card anxiety  Cheesy

Thanks Sammo
Yeah, I'm pleased with her as my drawing skills aren't brilliant but bar a few wonky bits, I think my friend will like it. Not paper based (sorry mods  Wink) but Crafturbation made an awesome Cooking Mama apron which should get a mention!  I hope to make something similar for my friend for christmas.

I'm loving the sparkley podge. I got a set of small bottles to try out - gloss, matte, sparkley, outdoor and a couple of others.
9  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Re: "What do YOU Journal About?!" Ideas thread! on: November 12, 2009 04:36:28 PM
Wow, I've spent my evening reading pages 1-29. There are some brilliant journal examples, prompts for pages & links here, and so many different styles. I'm going to go pick a journal this weekend and get started. I think mine will be a mix as I'm very much a lists person, I also have creativity and blank page anxiety so the prompts will be brilliant, giving me some organised spontaneity, if that makes sense!

Thanks for all the ideas, hopefully I'll post a few of my own once I've decided on my layouts

So, after my first set, I got exctied and I've done a few more which I'm going to send to people. I tried the Mod Podge sparkle stuff which I really like.

Cooking Mama - My friend loves Cooking Mama so I drew the main character and themed it with ingredients and a recipe on the back (I forgot to add it was for Brownies!!)

Dragonfly - for my favourite auntie who loves images of butterflies and dragonflies

Prayer - For my mum who's religious - with a short prayer on the back...I'm an atheist but will put me in the good books Smiley

The Owl and the Pussycat - the cat hasn't come out that clearly but overall, I like the idea. I think I'm going to do some more nursery-rhyme themed ATC's...I'm not that great at original design as you can see!
My boyfriend gave me another idea for this one so going to try and work some 3D in to it - taking the lead from Nooo's gorgeous moveable ATC's, I'm going to make the pea-green boat moveable, in between some 3D card waves and may be a sail too. I tried Glitter gel with this one but I need to get a better handle on it!
