Grin she likes them!!! Now I have to make some more. My brother has requested a scarf worked that way. Do you think it'd look ok?

Ok, the name has to change.
My mom will get them tomorrow, I hope she likes them as much as you do. Thanks.

Sorry I haven't written a pattern. But maybe this helps, if you want to make them:
I chained 2, then worked 6 hdc in 1st chain. I joined and worked in the round until i finished increasing, and then i just worked a spiral of hdc's till i got the length I needed. For the opening, i started working in rows. To shape the heel part, i decreased in the middle of the rows until i had about two stitches left. Then, I just worked in the spiral again for the "cuff".
I hope this makes sense, English is not my mother tongue   Embarrassed

I didn't use a pattern, i didn-t even count my stitches. I just eye-measured them until they looked the same size. Of course, they just looked that way. One is slightly bigger  Cheesy

Thanks, you've helped me feel better about them (and myself, haha). I'll give them to my mom.
I have to mention that these are the first things i have the courage to give somebody. I've been crochetting for about a year and all i've made until now was for me. And never worn out of the house, of course  Smiley

They are called The puke slippers because they really-really look like that. I made them from all the scraps of yarn I had, not caring about the colors at all. I'm visiting my mother this week and I was thinking I could give them as a gift. What do you think? Will she make fun of me for the rest of my life or not?

P.S. Please excuse the messy rug, it looks filthy, I know, but it's just stained.  Embarrassed

Thank youboth so much!
I've decided to add flowers all around, I'll add the pic when it's ready.

This is my very first post here in this category, so, please, don't be too hard on me.
I made this bangle from a plastic bottle. I wrapped it in a pink yarn (from a sweater that was too small for me), soaked it in some glue (that was actually meant for wood, but that was all I had) and then crocheted some flowers and sewn them to it. I still don't know whether to add more flowers or just leave it that way.
What do you think?

My cat was kind enough to model it for me  Cheesy

Oh, I forgot to say I followed the tutorial here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=253297.0
Thanks for it!
9  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / summer ear-rings on: April 26, 2009 09:42:32 PM
I keep feeling summer-y, so I made myself a pair of ear-rings to match the feeling. What do you think?
