Thank heroinechic, While I love the fact that craftster is a place where craft-minded folk can come and inspire one another, I don't like it when someone out-right asks how to re-create one of my designs. I am sure there are lots of people out there who don't want to buy something they feel that they could make themselves...im sure it happens all the time. But to come here a communty I enjoy being a part of and read this...I have to say its quite dissapointing. While yeah it is free advertisment, its also a bunch of fellow crafters sitting around trying to pick apart my design so they can make it, and saying "post pictures!" ugh....I dont know, it just makes me feel crappy. I am sure anyone who creates their own designs could understand how that feels...
and to poohza, there is actually not a pattern for my design, because well I made it up myself Smiley There might be a pattern out there for fabric fortune cookies, but she was asking for instructions on how to recreate my design. I promise I am not trying to be a smart-ass, or bitchey about this. It just hurts when you see something like this at Craftster, and sadly it is not the first time.
While I am flattered that people like my stuff, I would rather them look at it and be inspired to create their own designs, rather then just make a copy of mine. I am sure there are countless ways people could make fortune cookies out of fabric and have no two look alike! Smiley Thats the beauty of art! Again, I am not trying to pick on anyone, or make anyone feel crappy...Just to rather try and explain why this post bothered me.....Smiley
