1  Bridesmaid dress in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by BeaLandco on: July 29, 2010 09:57:42 AM
Here is the dress I designed and made for my daughter. She was one of my bridesmaids when her dad and I were married on July 24th. (This is also posted in occasions and holidays)

This dress is a "corset" top, drafted from her measurments, and a four layer skirt. The hardest part of the skirt was the netting to add pouf......

I am rather proud of this dress as there are recycled materials in it.....I used part of a white cotten bedskirt for the bodice lining!!

Her skirt sagged a bit during the ceremony and photo session so before the reception we went home and I stitched the skirt to the bodice, effectivly ending anymore wardrobe malfunctions!

I also made her brother's vest and tie and refashioned his dress shirt making a long sleeve into a short sleeve.

2  My Crafty wedding success!! in Weddings and Bridal Showers by BeaLandco on: July 27, 2010 09:54:24 PM
I have been browsing this forum for months, but have been too busy to post my projects.

Here they are!

I made my dress, my daughter's dress, my husband's vest, my son's vest and tie, I shortened the sleaves on both my husband's and son's dress shirts.

Back veiw of my dress and my daughter's dress

I crafted a cover for our guestbook, and covered the card box.

Made a memorial for our oldest daughter

I decorated a dollar store serving set for our cake cutting

We used mason jars and sand for decorations, as well as shed antlers and dollar store flower petals.

I also made my garters, but those pics are no longer on my computer so I will have to add them later. Also invite pics as we made our own invites.

There are more items that I self crafted, but I am still rather fuddle-brained from all the excitement....our wedding was only three days ago! I will post as I remember them!
