2  Gum! Wait, no. Nano Case! in Completed Projects by OriBanana on: October 12, 2005 07:34:25 PM
I gots me an iPod for my birthday yesterday, so as soon as I got over the frustration of figure out how to use iTunes sans intructions, I made myself a cover. I also didn't want people to steal it as I am not a masochist, so I thought I need it to look like anything but an ipod. I surfed around and found http://www.sneakmove.com/2005/09/diy-ipod-nano-case-with-urban-camo.html which made me do this:

There's still a few kinks, such as the fact that I had to tape it closed in order for it to not slip out, which is all fine and dandy except for when I want to turn the HOLD on and off. But I'm still extremely happy. Nothing like a $250+ gadget to make you want to cover it in trash.

3  Spinoff of sakijane's ribbon dress in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by OriBanana on: July 12, 2005 07:30:28 PM

Whole thing...

And slightly up close.

I don't know how I finished it in time with so many mishaps. I love sakijane for the tutorial but I had to get my mom to pin the ribbon's to dress while wearing it (no dress form for me) instead of laying flat. I kind of wish the dress were a little more form fitting and that I should've sewn the skirt part a bit higher up. But it was all worth the compliments I got through out the night. Finished in four days, down to one hour before my boyfriend picked me up for his grad.

4  Re: Heel of shoes more comfortable? in Shoes: Discussion and Questions by OriBanana on: February 03, 2005 02:47:29 PM
Well, its mainly the top of the heel that digs in when I walk. Its not padded very well.
^Thats what the heel looks like (hope it works!)
