26  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Valentine's Day / Furry Love Heart Pillow on: February 20, 2009 06:13:11 PM
I know I know, Valentine's Day passed..I completely forgot to put up this picture!!
I made this as a project in school like how many months ago?
The letters and numbers were hand sewn on, and the heart sewn together by a sewing machine. (My first time using one)

that isn't a date or anything, (a lot of people in my school asked me) actually, it means forever, if you say the numbers and chinese.

thanks for looking

28  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Valentine's Day / 52 things I Love About You (yet again, another deck of cards book thingy) on: February 03, 2009 04:26:11 PM
after seeing about two of these and with valentine's day approaching, i thought i would make my own version of this.
for some pages, i printed out the 52 things i love about my valentine and pasted them on the cards, and then on other pages, i used magazine cut outs (which was hard, because i use a lot of the word "you" and i used a lot of "e"s)

so this is what my cover looks like:

and some pages inside:

(the last page is my fav   Cheesy)

so let me know what you guys think and thanks for looking!!  Smiley
29  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Keychain Rubrik's Cube on: February 02, 2009 04:26:50 PM
hey guys!
first time posting on craftster(after taking forever looking for the "new topic" tabby), long time lurker   Cheesy
so I was on craftster the other day, and I saw the valentine rubrik's cube that chimes had made
(hers: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=226971.0)
and i also saw the original by Babyangel : http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=225899.0

i decided to take this idea and make my own for my guy friend (who loves the rubrik's cube)But instead of buying a regular rubrik's cube, i got the keychain version.

these are the pics that i used:

but instead of making little pics for each tiny square, i just cut up one picture for each side and glued them on using gluestick

finished product:

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

i would've taken more pictures but it didn't come out really good. hopefully, he'll like it and look past the ickyness (how its a peeling since i used gluestick and sealed it with clear nail polish)

thanks for looking   Smiley
