I think they are great!     You have a great figure for them - full hips and thighs I don't think it would go over so well - but you are so trim, the flowers are a fabulous detail!!!!

Thanks for posting this - I showed this to the BF and he loved it too, a couple months later we have our own!

I tried to shop Ikea because the dimensions were PERFECT (we have the same box) but they wanted $300 to ship to ND for a $150 cabinet....ummm...yea, probably not!  We found one on Walmart.com and had it shipped (free!) to a local store - You really saved us, this was the perfect solution!   (and the kitties love their new privacy so I'm sure they thank you too!)

Friggin adorable.  I too thought it was funny that there was a rule against modifying....in an art school  lol - I get it though...uniform. blah.  Yours is much better - so there!

Very cute!  I think the underbust dress is very flattering - the length is great and balances you well, and the top gives you a lovely hourglass shape!  Also cute as a strapless dress with capri length tights (if too short).

NICE recon!!

Oh I love your book - I did linger for a very long time and read each and every page.  A lovely little escape from the ordinary Smiley

I'm impressed!   I saw the avatar a few times around here and just *understood* that it had been photoshopped, I thought it was cute and inventive.
Then I saw this post and thought 'what is she talking about?  thats photoshopped, why is she posting it here?'  theeeeennnn I read the part about your bf getting freaked out and I realllly looked at it - Holy Crapola!  NICE JOB!  Hilarious!
8  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: New doll dress and wig on: February 17, 2009 07:54:43 PM
Wow.  WOw.  I just can't stop looking at her.  I think I have come back to this page 9 times since I first saw it last night.  I spent a few hours on the Soom website, wow again, I have truly never seen anything like it.
I love her wild wig, and the simple but exquisit nature of her dress, and the forlorn, faraway expression on her beautful face.  I really want to know what she is thinking, I know she is a doll, I know it.  But I can't help but feel that I *want* to know what she is thinking ....  and I guess that would be the point of these works of art, as well as the allure.

Like I said, I just can't stop looking at her.  Amazing job with her details.  Congrats on calling her your own.
9  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: beer bottle caps... LOTS OF THEM! on: February 16, 2009 11:03:52 AM
I love them for mini collages, collage the inside and top off with ultra thick embossing powder (clear).  Place on a pan over the stove, with decent heat.  After melted let cool and add another layer and repeat.

Use in larger collage pieces/shrines, superglue magnets or pushpins to the back, drill a hole at top and make charm for necklace or earrings.  Or just drill holes in them plain and use as earrings, I bartend - customers always get a kick out of it.  Wink

I can't see the pic either, but I think I know the type you are talking about.  I woud make magnets out of them, or gorilla glue onto puch pins for a memo board.
