Hello. These are the first hats I have ever made. I just learned how to make hats this summer. I think they're fun and pretty fast to create. I like making flowers for them.

I love to make scarves.

I add buttons to some to they can be secured.

I love the very silky and soft homespun yarn. Works great for borders.

7  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Handmade For Toddlers on: January 16, 2010 02:55:23 PM
I have lots of nieces and nephews, so I like to make them things. For my niece I made some blocks from cardboard. I covered the cardboard pieces in fabric and then hand sewed them to create boxes. The larger boxes open and the small ones are enclosed with large beads inside so they rattle. I also made drawstring bags to keep the boxes in & I made hearts to hang from the drawstrings.

8  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Beginner - Crochet on: January 16, 2010 02:41:09 PM
Hi! I'm Crystal, a.k.a Rosie. I started crocheting less than a year ago, gave up for a while, and then recently picked it up again. Only this time I stuck with it and actually made a few things. I am teaching myself, so thats been interesting. lol. My BF gave me some books for Christmas so those have helped. Anyhow, just wanted to share some of what I made and say I am enjoying looking through what everyone else is making.
