For the Easy Peasy Swap, my partner liked dark greens, and one of her favorite themes was leaves. I decided to try something I've never tried before!

I found some of this fabric, and stretched it over some canvas, and stitched over some of the veins with green floss, and other parts stitched on beads.

It looked so much cooler in my head, but I think I'm still pretty proud of it.

Her lips look awesome!! I have been wanting to embroider a couple of pictures for my family, and have no idea about how to do it! Did you free-hand draw this, or did you print the picture on the fabric?

5376  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Easy Peasy 2 Swap Gallery!!! on: June 09, 2009 08:30:30 PM
I'm glad you liked the canvas, It looked so much cooler in my head, but it was my first attempt at anything like that, and I didn't do quite as well as I thought. I'm also glad you liked the eggs, I saw in a post that you had never seen them in any stores, and wanted to make sure my giant box of eggs could be shared across the continent. I told you that in the card I wrote, but then forgot to put in the box  Sad

And on a sadder note, damn that post! That looked like something Lily and I would have loved!
