So we moved this past year to California, and things have been hectic. Going to school full time and my first time not working in a million years has been more stressful than I realized it would be. To unwind we go to the beach, often. We have to take advantage of it!

When we are at the beach we collect seashells like crazy, broken ones, ugly ones, pretty ones, large ones, small ones... They have been sitting in jars the whole time we have been here, and this past weekend my daughter and I decided we needed to get to crafting with them so we could actually enjoy them!

The project we decided to do with them was super easy too, just gluing them onto canvas to hang up on the wall. I used Aleene's Tacky Glue on mine, and my daughter used Elmer's Glue-All and glitter glue from the dollar store. She glued directly on the canvas, while I glued directly on the shells. They both gave a strong hold. This was a great way to use up a lot of broken shells because we put other shells in the broken cracks of shells, the brokenness of some of them didn't look as bad!
