A friend and I were talking about this recently, what would interest be like for a swap based around the epic TV mini-series the 10th Kingdom?

Such a great series that explored so many different aspects of fairy tales that we could see all sorts of fun stuff, dwarven mirror trinkets, a peeptown doll, replica singing ring?  And of course the trolls have threatened nasty things if there isn't something to do with shoes.

Always wanted something to display that voices your disdain for certain things, a popular movie that turns your insides into outsides?  A phrase that just gets under your skin?  Why not share these and craft things for each other.  From a T-shirt proclaiming your disdain to a wall hanging declaring your craftspace a ******** free zone.  Anyone interested in this?  I would obviously ask in the questionaire about what things you would not be comfortable crafting an antidote for.

I will soon have enough swaps under my belt to try organizing one, and I wanted to know what people would think of the posability of a craft swap making visual puns.

A pillow shaped like a pin (pin cushion), or a frog shaped purse (toad bag).  How about a crotchet bag covered with ravens (crow-chet anyone), or a jar of fruit preserves with saxophones on the label (lets jam)?

Would anyone out there sign up for this?

HI, I joined this site because I saw a friend of mine coming here all the time and a lot of the stuff that you all do looks pretty sweet so I thought I would join up, maybe do some craft type stuff myself, even though I am admittedly short on craft/art skills.

Any suggestions what sorts of swaps/craft events might be a good place to start?
