1  Fortune Cookie Crazyness in Dessert by Quasi_one on: August 03, 2011 02:25:16 AM
Grin Today I made cinnamon fortune cookies for the first time. I tried a recipe from a youtube video but it didn't work out too well so I had to change it a bit. These are awesome fun to make but a little bit time consuming if your making them by yourself. And they taste amazing!!

Recipe on my blog. (still new so only 1 post) http://www.lifewithjane.net/in-my-kitchen.html
The recipe makes about 20 fortune cookies.

2  my costume 2010 in Halloween Costumes by Quasi_one on: October 31, 2010 05:45:32 PM
this year i went as a zombie as i didn't have much time to make my costume. i just used some face paint, black and grey eye shadow, and made some face wounds with tissues and glue. I was really glad i put lots of moisturiser and a base coat on before i put the fake wounds on so they hurt less later on when i took them off. for my costume i just grabbed and old set of clothes and some food dye for bloody handprints and bleach on my black shirt. hope everyone had as much fun as i did.

5  Re: Spell My Name Swap Round 2 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Quasi_one on: November 15, 2009 12:10:11 AM
I got really spoiled in my first swap so I decided to pay it forward and spoil lillyday. All's fair in crafting ;P

So my letters were;

M - mostly green necklace
E - earings
G - green star magnets
A - accessories
N - notebook with pen sleeve

firstly a shot of my whole package

My green necklace although the photo doesn't do it justice.

My pearl earings - I heart pearls.

My magnets

some pretty hair accessories

and my notebook, I am a notebook whore, I have so many its not even funny. And I have to say the interchangeable pen sleeve will get used alot, love it.

front

back with sleeve and name

was just thinking I really should have done action shots with the magnets and pen sleeve but its just too hot over here in aus.

Thanks lillyday!!

Yay. I finally got my photos to load onto the website, have been trying for a few days now. I got my package from monika last week and was nearly late for work because of my curiosity.

My group shot with my lamb plushie getting in on the action.

The journal, which has decoration on it but you cant really see in the photo, sorry.

Some gorgeous material for my crafting and some decals to decorate it with.

An esme shirt, one of my fav characters.

A pink shirt

A cullen ring and a beautiful bracelet/cuff

A mug with my fav quote

Some jewellery, a bookmark and a twilight key tag

And my absolute favourite (although Millie the lamb didn't come in the package)
A tote which is just big enough for all my movies or books.

Thanks so much Monika, I love everything.

9  My first papercraft post - bookmarks and origami mobile in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by Quasi_one on: June 24, 2009 04:30:41 AM
While sick with the flu I decided to make this butterfly mobile out of some scrap paper, beads and cotton. The top is just a wooden loop covered in ribbon.

Also I bought a magnetic bookmark ages ago and its has finally died. But I haven't been able to find another one with a half decent picture on it so I've made my own, and some for a friend. I can't wait to use my twilight bookmarks in their books. Its really handy as alot of bookmarks tend to fall out.

top shot of the bookmarks

magnets on the inside

The sheet as it came out of the printer and before I cut them out.
