I love that. That is talent with a hook. I don't know how to follow patterns yet, but I can do a couple of others. The dress is very pretty and looks 'warm'.

Finally figured this out. This is a tear away stabilizer that needs a permanent or repositional spray to adhere. Another supply needed now. That stuff is expensive too.
5473  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Strange empty pen refills on: April 26, 2009 10:03:30 AM
String them together as you collect and spray paint for a room / door divider. Like a beaded curtain? If you have other things like that mix and match materials for a truly unique hanging. I am planning this with all my prescription bottles. Smiley

The best chance would be to post an ISO on freecycle if you have one in your area or on Craigslist wanted, cheap or free in your post. So many people are trying to de-junk in my area. If I saw that post and had any I'd say come and get 'em. Smiley

It seems the way you describe this is something like the material they use to make casts, so if it sets up hard, there would be many things you could cover it with and paint, maybe a wooden bowl, or anything you would like to give a new look. If that is what its for. Post anything you make please.
5476  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: SCORE on: April 25, 2009 07:47:15 PM
I wouldn't have thought of that. Thanks.

They also had bags of clothes for $1 which were kitchen sized bags. But the remnant bag was open and I could see immediately that was a score. Wink

I tried using one of them today for a poppet but it is way too slippery. Fortunately, there is a lot more fabric to play with. Smiley

I tried both sides. It is more fuzzy than shiny. Oh well. might make a good soghi screen or something. Thanks.

I downloaded a manual from this site for $5 and it was worth it, but they don't have vx-1500

They have vx-1400 which may be the series you use.

Sorry, forgot, they use drawing of the front of the machine so you should be able to tell

I am not sure how to spell this. I got around 5 yards or so yesterday in a fabric score.

It has a grid on it, and I am not sure which side to use. I would search but I am not sure if I am even spelling this correctly.
