51  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / Hi from Indiana! on: April 03, 2009 12:46:29 PM
Hi, my name is Beth, and I'm addicted to crafting!  I am a newbie, and I'm hoping to find some crafting buddies! Smiley  I like to crochet, and I just started knitting this past September, but I went overboard; the yarn is taking over my house, and I got tendinitis  Embarrassed  I haven't been able to knit for two months, and I'm going crazy!  I am trying to teach myself how to sew and  make jewelry.  I trying to find something that won't irritate my wrist.

I love Smileys Yarns!  http://smileysyarns.com/  They require a $50.00 minimum purchase, but you get a lot for your money!   I usually combine orders with friends to meet the minimum if I don't want to spend that much.   Grin
56  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: Looking for a pattern for this? on: April 02, 2009 01:33:12 AM
I think it's called "Grandma's Favorite Dishcloth."  If you google that, you'll find a lot of patterns that are basically the same, with very slight variations.  It's knit on the bias, and this is the pattern I always use:  http://www.groovy-mom.com/crafty/patterns/dishcloth.shtml  I hope that helps!  Grin
