21  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Finger Knit Scarf on: September 24, 2010 08:14:13 AM
Ya know, I can't find any finger knit projects on here?  Huh

So I"ll post my own!  Grin

I taught myself how to finger knit yesterday and made this XD

It was so addicting.

Don't hate on my PJs! Hahahahaa.

Really, really long! If I wear it uncoiled it drags the ground on both sides.

I used Lion Brand chunky yarn, one skein of black and white held together.

Wound up. Huge pom poms :3

Sorry for the awful pics, but I won't have my actual camera for about a week.

22  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Team Magma Hat on: June 18, 2010 04:21:20 PM
So here's a Team Magma hat I made for my PokeNerd boyfriend.

I'll post more pictures soon. :]

The red part is knitting, and I crocheted some simple cones and a circle in black and sewed em on.
I like how it turned out.
23  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Massive Jellyfishy on: May 11, 2010 08:34:11 AM
I saw amydice's giant jelly fish and had to make one of my own immediately! jellyfish are adorable, especially huge :]

This is my friend at school holding the big ol' jellyfish. I carried around the head and made the tentacles all day hahaha.

She is about 5'2 so the tentacles are pretty long.

Mine isn't as round as the original. It kept turning hexagonal around the 8th row or so. But I like it. I've already made this one and one for one of my friends. :]

They make lovely pillows Cheesy

24  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Jacket/hoodie help! on: February 22, 2010 08:18:36 PM
So I really want to make a simple jacket or hoodie. I have been looking for a decent tutorial but I haven't found anything I like. Any suggestions would be nice. I haven't made a jacket/hoodie before but I'd like to give it a whirl. :]

I also have some nice teal fleece with stars on it. Would this be good to use as a jacket?

Thanks to anyone who helps. :p
25  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Mad Hooder! on: October 29, 2009 08:12:47 PM
Haha, my entry for the mad hatter contest :p
This is a hood/hat that I made for mt best friend's birthday. I don't have any pictures of her in it, but I took a few of me modeling it :]

The night I finished it, with a few un-weaved-in bits left. I look rough I know  Grin

And finished. There is a white heart shaped button sewn on the side you cant see Tongue

I got the pattern here:
http://cache.lionbrand.com/cgi-bin/patternFinder.fcgi?search=Search&searchText=braided+hood

I added the single crochet border and buton myself.

Im now making a blue one for myself.

Hope you like it :]
26  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Slouchy hat. on: June 04, 2009 09:27:32 PM
I crocheted a hat tonight, making it up as I went, and I have to say, I am pleased!

I love how the color turned out.

If you would like the pattern, it can be found on my LJ, free of charge of course! Cheesy

It was very simple.

Please tell me what you think! And if you use my pattern, feel free to post your own creation!
27  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Meow! :3 on: June 02, 2009 01:42:51 PM
I made a cat hat!

These are just too cute. I couldn't ever find a pattern I liked, so I sort of just winged it... It's just double crochet until the bottom. It's a bit too big, but that's what I get for not using a pattern X3

It fits fine if pushed back a little bit, but the face is harder to see.

I crocheted the ears separately, then sewed some patches of pink fabric on the fronts and added a little bit of polyfil for a cute plush look.

I like his nose. :3
And he isn't supposed to look dead...

The color didn't pick up too well, but it's a kinda coral/salmon pink.

28  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Hats! (Img heavy) on: April 19, 2009 06:22:44 PM
I just finished a few new hats, and I really like how they turned out :3

The main pattern for these I used is the ever popular slouchy hat, found here:
http://jessicasuzanne.com/craftypants/2007/09/13/pretty-puffs-slouchy-hat-with-pattern/

On the blue one I followed the pattern exactly, but I switched to different hooks as I worked.
(N/9.00mm row 1-8, K/6.50mm rows 9-15, and a G/4.2mm for the rest.)

I put an old clip-on earring in the side for a charm. It has a ship on it Cheesy

The yellow one is the same as above, I just stopped after second row of puffs. I sewed some buttons on the brim.
I look a li'l rough in these pictures. Tongue

The red hat is so far my favorite. Also like above- switched hooks, using an even smaller one for the last rows. (F/3.7mm?)
I threaded some green yarn in and out of the brim 'cause I was dying to use those colors together.

Tell me what ya think Cheesy

Had to add my pokemon hoodie shot xD
