11  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / First legwarmers! on: November 17, 2011 09:50:27 AM
I loved making these and I  love wearing them! Cheesy

I used Patons 100 percent wool, and just looking at this yarn for so long made me hungry. It looks like candy D:

Knit on size eight DPNS, and its hard to see but theres a cable pattern alll down the sides.

Hope you guys like em Cheesy
12  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Some socks! on: October 21, 2011 11:21:15 PM
I recently got into knitting socks! Here are my first few pairs!

My most recent ones! I finished them tonight It took one skein for each sock. (Patons brand I do believe)

I mostly watched Dr Who whiles knitting these XD

These are cute little ankle socks, though you can't see the top part Tongue

They came out oddly Christmas colored! hahaha. This was my first finished pair... One is shorter than the other XD

I love this yarn- It's some sort of bamboo/wool type (wish I kept  the paper!) Super comfy and a great color!

I plan on making lots more socks, so if you have any suggestions or nice patterns, feel free to share! Cheesy
13  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Finn Hat! on: August 16, 2011 10:41:01 PM
I made Finn's hat, from Adventure Time! Haven't seen it? I highly recommend that you do!

That's Jake being a bra cop.

I plan on making more, so more pictures then! Took a couple hours, super easy :3
14  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Jumper/Pinafore on: July 05, 2011 03:45:09 PM

I spent the night before the Fourth of July making this little jumper, and then wore it the next day Smiley I think it came out really nice (especially considering all the mistakes I went through while making it!)

I love this fabric! This picture was taken in my bathroom, which yellows things out a bit. The fabric is really a light cream, rather than so yellow.

Please ignore the little wonky button! One of the things that still needs to be touched up Wink

The pattern called for gathering the waist of the skirt, but my thread kept breaking so I just used elastic! There is also a zipper in the back but it was impossible to get a decent back picture.

I've been dying to make fabric flowers lately, and I plan on sewing a few on here once I do Smiley

Tell me what you think!

Pattern can be found on Craftsters list of tutorials Smiley

15  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Pajama Pants on: July 02, 2011 01:42:39 PM
This is my first real clothing projects and Im proud of how they came out Smiley

Light blue cloud-print flannel, very comfy Smiley

Close up of the draw string, made of some fabric ribbons I had.

I think the pink paisley looks good against the light blue.

Tutorial I used:

Very fast, fun, and easy Smiley
16  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Replacing a needle- Brother XL-5232 on: June 23, 2011 04:44:17 PM
As said in the thread title I own a Brother Xl-5232, and I cannot replace the needle. I checked and followed the manual but it won't come out!

I've never had a problem with this machine (I'm not even sure how old it is, it was a gift, not new then, but in new-condition), and I've used on a few projects in the ppast, but I have yet to change the needle.

Basically I just can't get the old needle out :\ Could it simply be jammed and I need to pull harder? I didn't want to risk breaking it, so here I am asking first Wink

Please help if you can! Smiley
17  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / More keychains! on: February 23, 2011 08:42:23 AM
More little keychains! Cheesy
I found some colored keyrings at walmart and had to get em x3

I really like this one cause of the charms :3 Its a really jingly bell and a little shell.

There is a large green leaf charm in the back but you can't really see all of it here. :\

I really like the long square bead on this one. I'll prolly make more similar to this Smiley

One of my friends really liked my little piggy charm so I made her this keychain :3 The ribbon is tied in a bow here.

This one is really simple, but I liked the long black bead. Smiley

Again, excuse the bad nail polish! I really need to just remove it XD
18  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Keychains! on: February 21, 2011 05:43:07 PM
Made a couple keychains Cheesy

I absolutely fell in love with these piggy beads found at Hobby Lobby x3 I made a simple keychain and threw on some ribbon.

I also made the bag charm by Sonja_Amsterdam found here http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=373564.0 just threw on a key chain loop and connected them at the bottom :3

This is actually the second time I made this since my first broke  Undecided
But I prefer how this one came out and I fixed the flaws of the first one so yay Smiley

Thanks for looking! Cheesy
19  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Bracelets! (Lot O images) on: February 20, 2011 06:57:43 PM
Recently I've gotten into making jewelry and I have fallen in love! Cheesy

My first two I made. Stretch bracelets. Gotta love the stars. :3

Also a stretch bracelet, pretty colorful. Smiley

A charm bracelet made out of a chain from a bracelet I never wore, buttons I had lying around, and some little beads from a necklace I didn't like. x3

Another charm bracelet I made for my best friend's birthday and she loved it! Cheesy An assortment of beads, charms and buttons!

Thanks for looking, and if y'all have any tips I'd love to hear them! :3

Edit:

Shot of the back of a button. Hope it's clear enough; just a jump ring :3

Excuse the chippy nail XD

http://networkedblogs.com/8g4X7?ref=nf

So I crocheted up some PokeBall earrings XD
Not perfect, but my first attempt, and I like em :]

A very simple, must-do for all the nerds out there! I'm going to make more earrings and keychains for my Poke-Lover friends XD
