1  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Craftopedia Support / Re: More than one page for different spellings of words? on: February 27, 2009 08:22:20 AM
Should we be making separate pages for different spellings (e.g. "jewelry" vs "jewellery") and having them link to one main page (like someone has already done for "atc" and "artist_trading_card") or just ignoring alternative spellings?

I know that this is an old post but I feel like I need to elaborate. A practice when people create separate pages for different spellings/misspellings can be regarded as shady by Google. Nowadays, all major search engines will treat jewelry and jewellery the same. To cover all the gaps, optimize the page for the main term (e.g. jewellery) but include the word jewelry twice in the copy.
2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Photographer Earrings-- I gutted a light meter! (EDIT: second pair added!) on: February 27, 2009 08:05:46 AM
Oh, I love techy jewellery. Good job!!! Your light meters really look Egyptian Cheesy
One of my pals uses beer bottle caps (metal ones with cogs) to decorate handbags and garments. It can be a bit extreme but looks good if it's arranged in a certain pattern.
3  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Pottery, Ceramics, etc: Discussion and Questions / How to Repair Bone China on: January 29, 2009 06:15:52 AM
Hi,

After a mad spell of collecting I'm left with a couple of porcelain items that need attention. Mainly it is bone china and the faults are minimal (I've not yet reached that stage when people buy any old junk) - some chinks, cracks and little bits missing from the rim.  Undecided

Are there any synth pastes or other substances that I could use to mend the cracks? I would be grateful for any suggestions.
