I just had to cut a hole on the side, I trien hand stitching it all around but it just didnt work, I also ended up making them to tight so if anyone can tell me how to get a nice snug (not tight but form fitting) pattern, I could use the help, his friends want some now,

9  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Purse out of old jeans on: February 21, 2009 11:55:11 AM
again a purse out of jeans.. I think what makes this special is that I don't know how to sew and I made it using the itty bitty machine i got at target (ya'll know witch one? the one that looks like its for kids)

so I hand stiched the lining and since I ran out of the denimn cause this was a knee length capri pant i just made the strap with the lining fabric. BUT, I really want to learn how to machine sew lining into these bags ( oh I have a real size machine now LOL) ... any suggestions where I can find a tute?
Oh I need to put a clasp or magnet closing thingy

happy you stopped by, THANKS!
10  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / S.D Chargers pride purse on: February 21, 2009 11:16:46 AM
Ok so I know the season's over but I didn't finish this bag in time to sport it. I started it with an itty bitty sewing machine I got at Target (almost seems like a kid's machine) so I struggled, after cursing at it for weeks my husband got me a real machine, YAY!
But I don't know how to sew...n/e way here it is, my fist purse project!! (...and first attempt at posting here)

lined with denimn from jeans I cut up it also has a charger fabric pocket inside

thanks for looking  Grin
