Audrey, Kitties and a Tardis, what's not to love?! Those kitties are absolutely adorable!
I love seeing what everybody's been getting!

Thanks! They are stamps on the stationery I used, although I have been experimenting with doilies ever since... just can't get them to look as clean as the rubber stamps!

Speaking of getting, a garden has popped up in my mailbox!

Gorgeous flower notecards and envelopes from pancakes67!

I really love them and have already used one for a Thank-you note, I especially love that green ribbon used for grass!

I'm blown away by all the amazingness people are receiving, and I'm thrilled to add myself to that list!

Sorry it's taken a bit longer for me to post MEP we've had pouring rain non stop for little over a week now which means my poor old house has had some electricity problems.

Anyways, you look at what Sandra22 sent me!

Here's the whole set including some flyers she sent me of a local art event going on in her town.

Some of the papers, I really love the cut paper decorations!

And the rest of the paper and envelopes. How cool are they?!
Thank you so much Sandra22, and I've already started on a reply to your lovely letter!

I think all this rain has put the local posties on halt as I've had an empty mailbox all this past week  Sad Here's hoping the rain clears.

hooray! When it rains it pours! I got THREE postcards in the mail today!

Here's all three together.

First up from Sandra22

Some of the beautiful towers around her home, check out that amazing "glass lantern" top left cathedral, wow!

Next up from pancakes67

How gorgeous! I've been to Niagara Falls twice (but was only old enough to actually remember the trip once, hah!) I remember being in complete awe of the falls and this postcard brings that memory back to me vividly, such an incredible site.

Lastly from Incorporeal

Incorporeal is one of my "bonus extras" in the swap, but I thought you all should see the awesome card she made! The sea critters are totally appropriate for me!
Also she has really pretty handwriting.

Oh goodness, I'm blown away by all the amazing embroidered things people have been receiving, they're all so amazing!
I'm thrilled to be adding to the goodness too! I received a beautiful needlecase from schnerby the other night.

A beautiful bit of free-form embroidery that reminds me of tree bark.

But that's not all, it came stuffed with all kinds of amazing goodies(!) check it out!

Some beautiful buttons, lace, suede string and an incredibly intricately carved metal, she did all of those details by hand using a jewellery saw! Is that impressive or what?

Thanks so much for making my first swap experience enjoyable Schnerby, the needlebook has been put right into use!

16  Link Sackboy! in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by kanawinkie on: May 31, 2010 10:39:49 PM
My brother requested I knit him up a sackboy doll for his birthday last year.
I decided to surprise him with a Link version, since we both love the Zelda games so much!

I knit him up first using Alan Dart's Pattern.

(Eek! Naked sackboy!)

Then went a bit nuts with some felt and some yarn!

I was so tempted to keep him for myself!
