Really great house!

I've paused with the exterior stone/egg carton exterior. And I've been working on some things for inside the house. Not thrilled with the bed I made - I'm planning to go out and get the furniture kits for a couple of the rooms. Did put together a kitchen shelf with tchockes (sp?). One of my 'resolutions' for 2012 is to get better about taking pictures and posting them!

I'm relieved that it finally made it to you. The scarf had been finished by about a week or so after sign-up, the rest was waiting for inspiration & trying to find the safe spot I stashed the scarf. The colors are for air, fire, water, earth and spirit.

So - only about three days into my house... I have every room wallpapered except the attic & living room. Just built a bookcase out of the stair treads - will do the second one another day! Haven't started on the outside, but I'm thinking about the egg carton stone thing. Bricks would be too tedious for me, although I did use 1/2" 'tiles' of metallic hued paint chips for the ceiling in the kitchen!
I've also been using emery boards for sanding - I can't remember if that was in the 100+ pages I read. I've been using the short ones because that's what I have. Some of the tab holes are too small for the emery board, but overall it's made lots of things much easier.
My painting skills leave much to be desired so I'm working with decoupage for as much as I can!

My original shopping cart on tiny things was close to $80 and I whittled it to less than $40. Decided that I would get the things I couldn't yet imagine making and to work on the rest myself...
I still have the one that my Grandpap made for me several dozen years ago.

Just spent about an hour on tiny things are cute spending xmas $$$ on tiny things...
