I am so overwhelmed by all of the amazing work in this thread!

Wonderful pages Selkie! It's great to see so many pages all together, you can really see someone's style that way!

PHizzy - I wanted to thank you because I was inspired by your work. I've been doing a lot of collages/altered books and wasn't happy with them. When I saw how you painted the pages, I confiscated DS#1's watercolor pencils and decided to give it a try! I love the difference it makes and I've got about 5 or so different books going atm. (DH, DS1, DS2, travelogue and mine)
I took pictures of all the pages in my book so far...
here are a few more...

High School - truly the darkest years for me...

College

They're not finished - just in that I don't know what they need so I'm waiting until I figure it out to add anything.
Thank you for letting me join you.

And the idea of recaptioning the colouring book is PERFECT! Pure genius there, Selkie - and ifwhen we run a second round, I reckon I'm gonna yoink that idea for myself.

The Tiere im Ozean is the one I redid -
I found it @ bargain goodwill for $.25...

I can't believe I read all 170 pages in less than 2 days - yeah, I really need to get a life...

I started a book about a month or so ago -
backstory... I was at Goodwill - when am I not at goodwill - and found "Yes You Can Heather" The story of the first deaf Miss America. I paid the $1 for the book and brought it home with many ideas!!!!
The first thing I always do is go through and slice out some of the pages... Then I used a pencil to write in the table of contents about which years of my life which chapter was representing.
I need to accomplish some work before I can spend the time to figure out my scanner...
I've been showing it to everyone and they don't appreciate it as much as I'm hoping a fellow artist will.
It really got me through a rough month.

Off to do some work so I can play
and join in !!!

Pictures - not nearly as late as I usually am with pictures...

Frames...
3 with Gaelic on them - why are there only 2 in the picture? Mom is also into things Gaelic so I gave her first choice!

"Peata" = Mother's darling

A Thaisce = my treasure (Mom chose this one)

Is tumo ghra = you are my love

Ta mo chroi istigh ionat = my heart is within you

a set of 4 goblets with L'Chayim etched on them means "To Life"

2 sets of notecards
Todah = Thank you
Mazel Tov = Good Luck

THANK YOU NotKnit

I made a sign for the shop the swap...

I'm not sure how well it worked - it was for an inside apartment. I used an art canvas and then sprayed it with several coats of sealer.

A piece of wood might work well for an outside version. It took a  lot of magazines to find all the letters, but this is one of my favorite art/craft things of late  Cheesy

These are from RondaS - what an amazing partner!!!

Titanium hematite with amethyst and flourite bracelet

Blue bracelet on DS#1 - soon to be 13 and impersonating a cat!

Black bracelet on DS#2 - impersonating a ninja

Chakra necklace and bracelet set (I've never had a magnetic clasp before... I broke it on the first try, but mom's a jeweler and she's going to fix it for me  Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed )

A LGBT flaming chalice (no - really - it is called the flaming chalice) out of filet crochet. On a white background it's very subtle - Mom suggested a black thread outline - I might try that out to see how it works!

I'm so excited and thrilled with everything!
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU - especially for thinking of the kids!
