I love the contrast in this piece! It really makes a statement.
12  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Completed Projects / Re: My Felted Frog *IMG HEAVY* on: April 02, 2009 02:02:09 AM
I love frogs! Love the shape of their bodies...BUT I am realizing that it is sooo hard to get the anatomy right, the positioning of the legs. I am working on one now that I HOPE will be done in the next few days! It's becoming my new favorite! Yours is great Smiley
13  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Completed Projects / Re: How did I get into this? on: April 02, 2009 01:56:58 AM
I love the stained glass window scarf! I have been thinking of doing something like this for awhile now (not a scarf though). I love bold colors with black, it makes such an impact!
14  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Discussion and Questions / Re: adding small / fine detail? on: April 02, 2009 01:53:35 AM
Just practice, practice, practice! Practice doing it one way, then another, then another and eventually you just learn what works for you and what doesn't. Certain techniques that work for one person may not be the techniques that work best for another person.

Kbird- The loom doesn't have pegs, it has slots...I'm assuming that makes a difference?

I absolutely love this needle felted bunny rabbit that I created recently! It stands 10 inches tall.

Thanks Jane and Pinky Smiley The snow globe ornaments seem to be a hit!
19  FIBER ARTS / Weaving: Discussion and Questions / I bought my first loom..... on: February 11, 2009 10:52:28 PM
....but I think I bought the wrong kind. I think mine is a tapestry loom but I want to make purses and placemats mainly. I like the look of weavesings that show both warp and weft, but on the tapestry frame loom that I have, I can only get the horizontal color to show up (whichever it is, warp or weft).
