1  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Scrapbooking: Discussion and Questions / Glue for vinyl album cover? on: March 06, 2012 01:15:38 PM
I want to glue the gift bags from my baby shower onto the cover of my daughter's first baby album. Problem is, I have never done something like this and have no idea what glue is the most permanent and effective for thick, laminate paper and a vinyl, textured album cover. Anybody else done a recon craft like this with a suggestion? Thanks!
2  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Joining in the round, please help! on: January 01, 2011 01:00:53 PM
I have been crocheting on and off for years, and I can never, ever, EVER get this right. I can't join my rows when working in the round in a nice way. There is always a big gap at the start of every row, or a very obvious seam where I am joining the rows. I can't make hats or amigurimi or anything of that nature, because I have never figured out how to do this simple step. I am sure that I am doing it the way it is in the how-to books, which for the most part are my only resource.

Please help!

For the life of me I can't stop thinking about how I want to wear that hat while singing "Fish heads, fish heads, roley poley fish heads..."
Great job on this! I heart it.

ooh, I'm jealous! I never mastered filet crochet, but I recognized the seal and I wish I had the patience for this type of thing, any chance of putting up a chart?  Smiley
6  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Kon - From the anime Bleach on: March 15, 2010 03:40:31 PM
Yeah, he's fantastic. We were actually watching bleach this morning, I always feel so sorry for Kon, he takes so much abuse. I was trying to figure out if you made his head in the round, or in pieces. It looks very seamless and neat.  Smiley

My boyfriend would go nuts over this, I'm not a huge bleach fan myself, but he's addicted to it. Any chance you have a pattern? I would love to make him one.

Wow, he's so beautiful. I'm so sorry about your dog, I am a German Shepard lover myself, it's really heartbreaking to let 'em go.

He's so cute! He probably would do a good job protecting your stuff, along with your ninja.

I think it's pretty. The color is neutral too, so you could pair this with a lot of things.
