I took my singer there a few years ago for a tune up.  I can't  remember the name however.

Anyone ever made a wallet for a guy?
I'd be interested that sort of project.
It would be nice to make myself one.

those bags look great.  You're very talented!
I was thinking about making a bag, and i noticed you used metal hoops in the strap.  Are they decorative, or do they serve a functional purpose?

The best thing to do is go to your local library and pick up a book on car interior fabrication. And read it. this will give you a nice foundation. You will learn about sewing techniques and materials.

Interesting ideas,

I'm on the brink of  giving silk screening a shot. I'm thinking of doing a vintage 40-50's race car look collage on an army surplus t.

Right now I'm making a set a pearl earings, necklace and bracelet for my sis. I'm also setting up a speed bag in the garage.
thanks for all the ideas!!

krazigal,

I was looking at that link. I noticed that the pearl earing has a metal contoured metal cap. It goes very well w/ the curve of the pearl. And gives it a nice finished look.
Where can i get such a cap? Is this a standard piece? or is it a one off?.

krazigal

yes that's it. i'm all about simplicity. I'm a modernist when it comes to design.
So now i've got to get some headpins and some earing hooks.

Thanks for the ideas!
