Groovy!   Grin

(I know this makes me super lame but it had to be said.  I make no apologies!)

Fantastic work!

Thank you!    Smiley

I'm actually really glad that I posted this.  It's been nice to share the story with people because it makes me happier to remember Nivek with so many other animal/cat lovers.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to this.  I definitely think that the flowers should stay facing down.  I think they look pretty that way and they really do mimick the way that lilacs look in real life.  Ultimately it would be up to you how you like them better but I cast my vote for keeping them down.

Thanks!  Sorry for the delay in replying.  The fabric is actually synthetic suede that I got off a cheap Halloween cape that I had kicking around.  The skull was originally a button that I made for a coat that I have doomed to the "it'll get done eventually" pile.   Grin

I honestly think these pieces are beautiful.  One thing that is a bit odd (for lack of a better word) is that the flowers are facing down and we don't get to see the details on the petals that way.  That said, this isn't necessarily a bad thing.  They still look elegant and in this position, the flowers look like they are dangling down as they would on a tree.  Personally, I think both the earrings and the necklace look lovely the way they are.

(PS - Congrats and good luck with your upcoming nuptuals!  Cheesy)

These are fantastic!  You did an excellent job on both!  Also, kudos on the hand rolling of the beads.  I wouldn't have gone through with it all the way!

love it, love it, LOVE IT!!!  even though I can't watch Repo (so therefore I won't be looking up that video again), I still love this and knew exactly what it was from.  great job!

I can't watch it because I have an over-active imagination and the bloodiness really gets to me.  I really wanted to see this movie, till I saw that video.   Sad

hehe, ok its a little gory *cough* Smiley but its all done to song! somehow the music negates the gore for me Wink

lucky you.  I really wanted to see it.   Sad

You know, if you could watch it with a friend, it might still work out.  Despite the topic of the film, it's not just an hour and a half of pure unadulterated gore.  If you could find a friend who was okay with watching it first, they could always warn you when something gory was coming up and you could watch the rest of the film with them.

Acidtrix:  How was your necklace of awesome received on the forums?  (I'm not registered on there so I couldn't snoop and see the comments.)  And just so you know, I'm now thoroughly inspired to get my Repo! crafty on as well.   Grin
