2  Crocheted Spring Garland With Free Pattern Link! in Crochet: Completed Projects by laf1110 on: April 18, 2011 07:33:23 AM
Well I am so glad spring is finally here but I wanted to bring some of that inside my house.  Since we don't have any cutting flowers in bloom yet I went ahead and made this spring garland.  As you can see it consists of the same motif is different colors.  I just crocheted a chain about 5 ft. long to put it on.  It is hanging on my fireplace and really brightens the room up!  You could crochet it in all sorts of color combinations to make it look completely different.  If you would like to make your own you can find the free pattern at my website, Simple-and-Frugal-Living.com.  Here is the direct link: http://www.simple-and-frugal-living.com/crochet-spring-garland.html.  I would reccomend it for beggining advanced crocheters and up.

Enjoy!  Grin

3  Felt toy campfire with link to tutorial! in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by laf1110 on: February 14, 2011 10:02:21 AM
Hey there!  My son wanted to have a coyboy birthday party this year, and what better gift for a cowboy then a campfire?!  It was really easy and cheap to make.  Especially if you have a bunch of felt lying around the house like I do!  I put a tutorial on my website if you would like to make your own.  Hope you enjoy!   Grin  This is a direct link.  http://simplyfrugalhomemaking.blogspot.com/2011/11/felt-campfire-tutorial.html  (sorry about the broken link.  I have a new blog now so this link is good!)

4  Matryoska doll (crappy picture sorry!) in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by laf1110 on: April 25, 2010 07:15:50 PM
Sorry about this picture...it is rather lacking.  Anyways I kind of like how she turned out.  I have been wanting to crochet a matryoska for a long time.  I did it in what would be considered amigurumi...i think!  Pretty simple...start with a cylinder, decrease, sc some more, and close her up!  I put the pattern on my blog...although I am not sure how clear it is.  I hope you enjoy! http://bigcraftyblog.blogspot.com/2010/04/free-crocheted-matryoshka-doll-pattern.html

8  Bed ruffles in What the heck can I do with THIS? by laf1110 on: March 01, 2010 04:11:08 AM
Ok so I am not totally sure if I am putting this in the right spot...So anywho I found this bed ruffle with a cute pattern on it at the thrift store.  I don't know how to sew ruffles on stuff so I knew I wanted to cheat and reuse it.

It's a little apron for my daughter  Smiley  Anywho I posted instructions on how to do it.  I am not sure how clear they are as I am not what you would call a "very good" sewer.
